After a Chicagoland storm

Wind, hail or tree damage?

Damage is not always obvious from the ground. ProCare Solutions can inspect affected areas, document visible conditions and explain practical repair options—without pressure or promises about coverage.

Do not climb onto a wet or damaged roof. If a power line is down or the structure appears unsafe, keep clear and contact emergency services or the utility first.

Local context

Storm damage can vary street by street.

Severe storms can bring damaging winds, hail, flooding and tree impact. A warning does not prove damage at a specific property. A documented inspection helps you understand what is visible at yours.

What to look for—from the ground

Small exterior changes can point to a larger problem.

01

Roofing

Missing, lifted or creased shingles; loose flashing; exposed decking; fresh debris impact.

02

Siding

Cracks, chips, holes, loose panels or gaps where wind-driven rain may enter.

03

Gutters

Dents, separation, overflow, new leaks or sections pulling away from the home.

04

Windows & doors

Cracked glass, damaged screens, bent trim, broken seals or water at frames.

05

Tree impact

Limbs resting on the roof, punctures, displaced materials or structural movement.

06

Water intrusion

Active dripping, damp insulation, ceiling stains, bubbling drywall or musty odors.

Not sure what you’re seeing? Start with a documented inspection.

Common questions

Know what to expect before you schedule.

Does a storm warning mean my property is damaged?+

No. Storm effects vary block by block. An inspection documents visible conditions at your property.

Is the inspection free?+

ProCare currently offers a free property inspection. Scope, access and availability are confirmed when scheduling.

Will you tell me whether insurance will pay?+

No. Coverage decisions belong to your insurer. ProCare documents visible conditions and can provide a repair estimate.

Will ProCare file or negotiate my claim?+

No. ProCare is a contractor, not a public adjuster, and does not file or negotiate claims for property owners.

Will anyone get on the roof without permission?+

No. ProCare obtains the owner’s express permission first. Access also depends on weather, structure and safety.

What if water is coming in now?+

Call 888-223-1119. If the structure is unsafe or electrical lines are involved, keep clear and contact emergency services or the utility first.
